It's a prestigio Android tablet. In was hoping to use xnalara on it, but it doesn't look like it's possible... Which I'm totally deflated about.
I do have experience with Android (like millions of other people) but i.'m not a big fan of it. For a start the launcher is very temperamental. Writing this entry, the program thinks that nearly every word is spelt wrong as it has no dictionary.
It also gets very hot at the back where I hold it.

That top bit, I wrote on the tablet on the day
when I received it. Since then I've had a few other bits of 'life' to deal
with.
Last night whilst playing 'Angry Birds Star Wars' the game and pad froze... I had to do a 'hard reset'. Personally, when stuff like that happens to me, it normally means that it's the beginning of troubles/problems with that piece of tech.
Like I said, I would've loved to have been able to use XNALara on it, but perhaps it's now an opportunity for me to get back to some 'fictional' work.
I have downloaded quite a few apps (no loads, but some). Some apps that do wind me up are the ones which use work by people (drawings) which have been uploaded to deviant art and are now accessible by Google. Thankfully, they're free apps but it's not official work, it's something that people put a lot of effort into.
Back to apps, I've downloaded a Piano app. It's not like I'm trying to learn to be a pro... I just thought that it'd be fun to
play around. I'm pretty hooked on playing 'Greensleeves'. I've also downloaded a 'Drum' app... The only thing I can think of using that app for is whacking the volume up to 100 and annoying people in your house and the surrounding
neighbors.
I did get the tablet linked up to this laptop and put a few images on it so that's a plus. My next goal is to get some
music and videos on there...
One final thing, I've managed to get a game working on my laptop from disc... Angry Birds Rio... Well, it won't play The Sims 3 and is a bit 'iffy' on the Sims 2, so at least it's something...lol
